When they are the right answer
Chips, stubborn discolouration that whitening will not shift, and small alignment issues on teeth that are otherwise healthy. That is the list.
When they are not
If the underlying tooth has significant decay, a veneer is a cosmetic lid on a structural problem. If the alignment issue is more than slight, orthodontics costs less over ten years and keeps more of your own tooth.
