We do take-home whitening rather than a single in-chair session, because the results last longer and the sensitivity is far easier to manage.
What it will and will not do
Whitening lifts natural tooth colour. It does not change crowns, veneers or fillings — which is why we whiten before any cosmetic work, never after, so the new work is matched to the final shade.
Sensitivity
About one person in three gets some. It is temporary, it responds to a desensitising gel, and it is the main reason we check in at the one-week mark rather than sending you away for a fortnight.
